The most important thing you do as business leaders and governors is create and actively tract the Vision and Strategy for your organisation. Vision and Strategy are the tools that the Leadership team should use to lead the organisation into the future and make sure that it stays on the right track. The main challenge for Iwi governors is managing a holistic suite of goals across social, environmental, cultural, political and commercial spheres that are all important, but there are never enough resources to deliver on in the short term. There is no easy fix for this challenge, but there are a number of tools to make it more manageable.
